laundry day....maybe more

I have been sick this week. So, laundry has been lacking! So, today will be catch up day along with going through my summer clothes and actually getting rid of ALOT! That is my goal. I would like to start saving for a yard sale, I am not sure if I can accomplish this for the current sale season, but I will try.

cleaning and organizing

So far this is turning out to be a good spring/summer! Lots done already, my goal this year is to do something everyday. If it is cleaning, crafting, or yard work. When I was little I had 2 minute chores (comerical breaks). I think I will revamp and do 10 - 15 minute chores after my regular things are done for the day. I really want the garage (3 stalls) cleaned so me and the MIL can park in the garage this winter. That is going to be a HUGE task! So on to what warped things I did yesterday!

What a busy day yesterday! I decided to clean and organize our breezeway.

What a MESS!!! But now....

I was also able to organize my garden area...i do not have a before. TRUST me...it was all over the floor instead of put away!

cleaning and organizing

Not a pretty picture under our basement stairs....

But we have started a stock pile of product which is now organized!

I am thinking of painting under the stairs...maybe this weekend, I have a nice bright color I can use.....
Today was the day we also went through the boys summer clothes and put away winter ones. Wow! that was an undertaking!

Yard work pt. two

well, I was going to wait to get this up, but my husband wanted me to do this tonight. (which is ok!)
I used one of the boys old headboards for a touch of pretty, and behind that is a small hosta (for now!). It is called "Captain Kirk's Hosta"! LOVE IT!! Except it is a wuss! It loves shade, my yard does not have alot of shade, but i am hoping the butterfly bush will protect it somewhat when it grows up!
I used an old fence gate and used it for a growing spot for a berry bush, I hope it works out like i want it too. Behind the gate I transplanted some other flowers, i am not sure what they are.
Later, I will put my project pics up, so I don't loose them! :)

yard work pt one

OK...here are the before pictures. I do not like them....but it is looking better! These are all from last year before our weather got too hot to work and i lost motivation.

The poor sad wishing well....it too is going to be fixed! :)
